The North Auckland Farmers' Co-op. Limited, report:— —At Helensville — On Tuesday last, 10th inst., there was a record yarding, about 700 head going under the hammer. A large number of buyers were present from all parts, and prices ruled extraordinarily high. A line of 43 store steers, belonging to Mr J. A Wilson, taken off a sand-hill country, averaged £15 6s. A line of 22 store steers, belonging to Mr Jas. McLeod, averaged £14 9s. Seventy 3 year old steers averaged £10 10s, and 2 year old steers up to £8. Dairy cattle and beef went at very high rates. Shorn hoggets up to 225.
