TOWN BOARD ATTENDANCE.
TO THE EDITOR
Sib, —For the guidance of voters at the forthcoming Election next month, would you kindly publish the number of meetings attended by the present members during the past two years, and how many (if any) have forfeited their seats through non-attendance?—l am, etc., Isaac Hughes. Fourth A y., Heleneville, 29-8-16. The following, taken from the ECHO file, shows the number of meetings attended by members of the present Townte Board, during the past two years :— E. T. Field, 26; A. Becroft, 23; T. Elliott, 26; J. F. Lambert, 24; G. Sellars, 21; Jas. Stewart, 11 ; J. A Wilson, 24. It is said that Mr Jas. Stewart has forfeited his seat through ■•' non-attendance at four consecutive meetings, though we know nothing officially.
