DEFENCE NOTES.

A Church service is being held monthly (undenominational) for all units, as a mark of .esteem and respect to those who are fighting for our freedom, liberty, and the defence of the Empire, also a mark of sympathy for those who have fallen in a just .and noble cause.

The first of these services will be held in Stewart's Hall on 27th August at 2.30 p.m.

All units and local bodies are asked to parade at the Defence Office at 2 p.m.

The public are cordially invited to attend these services. Speaker: Rev. J. A. Lamond, of Kaukapakapa.
