A big detective drama (featuring Sexton Blake), with a clever and unsual plot, entitled"' The Counterfeiters," is included on Saturday's tip-top programme at the Star Tbeatre. The story is a delightful one of love and adventure, intensely interesting, and even the most experienced play-goer will hardly fathom the mystery until the final chapter. On Wednesday at the same Theatre a treat is in store for patrons, in the picturization of Rex Beach's famous book, " The Spoilers " (nine parts). The story has been transferred from page to film with great attention to detail, and contains a wealth of wonderfully presented situations, the background being a'study of life in Alaska, with all its attendant thrilling episodes and adventures. Kathlyn Williams (of " Adventurer of Kathlyn " fame), and William Farnum take leading parts in this film, which is " second to none."
