WAKE UP!

A RECRUITING film bearing the title " Wake Up " will be the principal item on the programme at the Star Theatre to-morrow (Friday) night. This drama, which is stated to have been produced with the assistance and under the auspices of the War Office, deals largely with the doings of enemy spies in the prewar period, and among the characters are thinly-disguised representations of Lord Eoberts and Lord Haldane. Later on the invasion of England is shown, and sandwiched in the story, which has just the elements to make a strong appeal for general popularity, are a large number of pictures oj soldiers, warships, big guns firing, and similar interesting subjects. Saturday's programme is also well up to the usual high standard; while for Wednesday the management has obtained a powerful drama embodying that beautiful, touching song "Where is my Wandering Boy To-night ?"
