Bro. W. Timewell, D.C.R., of- «;> the Auckland District A.0.F.,^ paid a surprise visit to the local Court meeting on Tuesday night last. The visiting Bro. presided. Bro. Sandin, on behalf of the Court, extended a hearty welcome to Bro. Timewell, and said that if the District sent an officer or better officers to attend country Courts more often than they did, and especially to Court Star of Helensville, a lot of good would be the outcome. As it is at the present time, it is as much as the Court can do to get a meeting together.
Bro. Timewell thanked the Court for their kind expressions of welcome, and he hoped to attend the Court again before his . time of office expired In the \ course of his remarks, Bro. ' Timewell referred to his highly respected colleague, Bro. R. Darlow, D.S., who was lying dangerously ill at the Auckland Hospital, he having gone under several serious operations. One matter that received attention and was discussed at the meeting was an invitation to the PCourt to attend the Public Bodies parade arid service at St. Andrew's Church, Helensville, on , Sunday, May 21st, at 11 a.m. It was decided to assist at same, and all members are required to meet at Court Koom at 10 a.m. (not 10.15), and form in procession outside of Hall at 10.30. Full regalia to be worn, and it is to be hoped a good muster will roll up.
At the conclusion of the meeting the visiting Bro. was accorded a hearty vote of thanks for presiding. ;
