LOCAL SCHOOL MATTERS
In view of the coming householders' meeting, to be held at Helensville next Monday evening, the Chairman of the present School Committee has gone out of the usual rut by presenting the Annual Report and Balance Sheet before the annual meeting instead o.f on its eve* This -will undoubtedly help those who take an interest in local school affairs, and perhaps induce a larger attendance on Monday evening, when it is to be hoped there will be plenty of candidates for election, Some of the old hands will gladly vacate if willing workers come forward, and there ought to be plenty in all good conscience, in Helensyijle.
