One of the great attractions of Wednesday's programme is the Keystone comic, " Getting Acquainted," featuring Charles Chaplin and Mabel Norm and. This is the brightest and briskest production of farce fun that has been perpetrated by the incorrigible Charles.

A lady in Edinburgh wrote to the commander of a regiment, inviting four officers to dine with her. These were not available, so the commander wrote that he was sending four privates instead. The hostess then arranged a hearty feast for these men in the kitchen with the maids, and they had a very lively evening. When they took their departure they left cards in the hall Every one of those four privates had a title!
