BIG TREE BENZINE. Extraordinary Performances by riders of Motor Cycles: P. Golem an, racing at Masterton, on 2nd March, on a Big X, and using Big Tree Benzine, won a 15 lap handicap race from scratch, in the record time of 17min 15secs for 18| miles. There were sixteen entrants. The same cyclist at Carterton on a Big X, using Big Tree Benzine on 4th March, won a 15 mile race from scratch in 13 mm 53 l-sth sees, against twelve competitors. At Carterton on 19th February H. R. Crawley on an Excelsior, and using Big Tree Benzine, did 14 miles mv 13min 262secs, thereby winning the Dominion heavy-weight champion. • The light-weight championship at Christchurch Patriotic Motor Races, was won by H. E. Edmonds, who used Big Tree Benzine. The distance of 10 miles was covered in 12min 53 3-sth sees.
