BIG TREE BENZINE. Extraordinary Performances by riders of Motor Cycles: P. Goldman, racing at Masterton, on 2nd March, on a Big X, and using Big Tree Benzine, won a 15 lap handicap race from scratch, in the record time of 17min 15secs for 18f miles. There were sixteen entrants. The same cyclist at Carter ton on a Big X, using Big Tree Benzine on 4th March, won a 15 mile race from scratch in 13 mm 53 l-sth sees, against twelve competitors. At.Carterton on 19th February H. R. Crawley on an Excelsior, and using Big Tree Benzine, did 14 miles in 13min 26|secs, thereby winning the Dominion heavy-weight champion. The light-weight championship at Christchurch' Patriotic Motor Races, was won by H. E. Edmonds, who used Big Tree Benzine. The distance of 10 miles was covered in 12min 53 3-sth sees.
