QUITE a happy gathering of the general public took place on Monday evening last in the Helensville Picture Theatre, the occasion being for the benefit of the Helensvijle rifle range. The pictures screened \yere of a miscellaneous nature and varied by many war topics, and were n\uch appreciated throughout. Together with a few outside subscriptions the sura realised totals about £23. Tfcanks due to Mr Jas, Stewart for the free use of his theatre, and also to Mr 4r Bishop who worked up the benefit and took the whole management in hand,
