DEFENCE NOTES
The Helensville Platoon of the Kaipara Defence Rifle Club will parade at 2 p.m. on Saturday, 19th inst., for musketry.
Sergt.-Major Fletcher resumed his duties as Area Sergt.-Major at Helensville on the Ist inst.
Captain Turley is at present at Whangarei, where he most probably will remain till after camp (March 10th).
For the purpose of raising funds for the completion of the Helensville rifle range, a militarynight will be held at Ste^^t's Theatre, kindly given by MdK^s. Stewart for the occasion, -Monday, 28th inst.
