AWAROA BOWLING CLUB

THE " ROOSTERS"

LAST Saturday the holders, Messrs Hammond and Driscoll, were called upon to defend their title, and this they successfully did, defeating the challengers, Messrs Harris and Screaton, by 30 to 17. They afterwards defeated Messrs Nuttall and Bishop by 22 to 17. The holders have now had 7 consecutive wins, and it looks as if they will hold the " Roosters " for the rest of the season. CHAMPIONSHIP SINGLES The following are the winners ot the sections : — Section A-—H. Graham Section B —A. Hammond Section C—V. Phillips . They will now. meet each other to decide the championship. HANDICAP SINGLES Section A —H. Graham Section B—T.Callagher Section C—W. Ellett Section D —Cuthbert
