WEDDING BELLS

A pleasing; ceremony took place on Monday last, February 7th, at the residence of Mr Isaac McLeod (Helensville's oldest settler), the occasion being the marriage of his eldest daughter, Janita, to Mr Percy J. Williams, farmer, of Helensville. The bride was given away by her father, ;/and attended by her sister, Miss Myrtle McLeod, as bridesmaid, the best man being Mr V F. McLeo.d, brother of* the brick. The qeremony was conducted by the Rev. It. J. Hudson, The bride and bridegroom Were the recipients of many valuable and useful presents. The guests consisted of relations and friends of the contracting parties, who partook of the excellent breakfast provided by the the host and hostess. A number of toasts were* _ honoured in the usual fashion. The "happy c.QUple left by the 12.30 train amidst, showers of rice and good wishes.
