MR ISITT -DISSENTS j When speaking at a deputation j waited on the Hon. J. A. Hal (Minister for Education) recently, ]\j Scott, dealt with the subject of; censorship of films exhibited at pi^ shows. "We think," he said, "1 control should be had over mq pictures. We have all sorts of se tional things exhibited in these va| shows which we know are not condi to the best interests * of the rj generation. Picture shows can be I for educational purposes, but, on! other hand, some of these picture: most disgusting. We think somt should be done by the Governmej local bodies to have more control \ they have at the present time." \ C. H.
