Jones, Auctioneer, Victoria and Lome Streets, Auckland, reports :— The produce market this week has been very busy and a large volume of business has been done.- Poultry came forward in very heavy supply and for good conditioned birds good prices were realised. A great quantity of the birds i are in poor condition. Roosters, ducks and young turkeys and geese are in . strong demand and good prices are ruling. Old ducks are low. Potatoes of good quality are selling' freely; poor grades are hard to quit. Butter, eggs, and fruit are firm. Honey is slow of sale. Vegetables are lower. Grain market firmer.
