TO TIIE EDITOH. Sir, —In your issue of the 12th hist., you have a notice of Mr John E. S. Young's death, which in some particulars is correct, but in others misleading. The late Mr Young was my partner and good friend for 33 years, 29 of which have been spent in Kaukapakapa,where he was welf-kno^n as a successful orchardist, etc., and earned his liying' by 'his/ work, having also been Clerk of the Kaificapakapa Road Board for a good few years., and retiring qwing to' ill-health.
