AWAROA BOWLING CLUB

A COMMITTEE meeting of ther above Club was held at the Bank .of New Zealand on Tuesday evening, when there was a large attendance of members. Mr A. J. Hill, the newly-elected President, occupied the chair. The Ground Superintendent was authorised to procure six loads of top dressing for the greens. It was decided that applications be called by advertisement for a caretaker for the coming season. A special general meeting was called for 23rd August next, for the purpose of amending the rules regarding entrance fees. A Match Committee, consisting of Messrs Graham, Harris, and Murray, was elected, The meeting terminated with a vote of thanks to the Chairman.
