A CAPITAL IDEA

THE purchase by the Whangarei hospital Board of the Kamo Springs sanatorium estate, primarly as a 'convalescent home for wounded soldiers ivho return from the front, and subseluently as a retreat for the indigent aged, is now under consideration, says a Whangarei correspondent. The adjoining land could be worked to advantage as a hospital farm. If the contributing local bodies affirm the scheme it is hoped that Government assistance will be given in the shape of a subsidy.
