THE President of the Canadian Red Cross Association, Dr. Ryerson, has arrived in New York from Havre. He stated that within two months there would be under way along the entire western front a tremendous " drive " which would be the greatest of the war. He had seen General Joffre, who said the Germans would be out of France by the first week of the coming year, and that the war would be over in another year, when the Germans would be defeated.
