Kilid Bahr Occupied-Allies on Gallipoli—Enormous Forces in Gal-icia-War Government in Britain —All Parties Represented.
Athens newspapers report that t?\ i les have o°cupied Kilid Bahr, the main Turkish fortress on the European side of the NarS i? ffiCial I>epOrts of the Daidanelles operations received trom Cairo state that every day sees improvement in the Anglo French position. , 8^ from Petrograd states that a general battle has begm\ m Galicia, which will tax tne Russian resources to the utmost. Thirty-three army corps are engaged, of which ten are German, along a 200 mile front v + lJ lent struggle ris proceeding north of Przemysl, in the region otJaroslav, where the enemy is endeavouring to cross the San in the face of deadly fire from Russian artillery.
In the House of Commons, Mr Asquith announced that a coalition Government was to be formed The proposal would not affect the Premiership,. the Foreign Omcer, or war policy. The changes to be made in the Ministry have not yet been officially announced.
