Helensville, July 15,1915. ,PRESENT 4 Messrs E. T. Field (chairman), A. Becroft, T. Elliott, G-. Sellars J. F. Lambert, J. A. Wilson, and the Secretary, Mr H. W. Stringer MINUTES Minutes of previous meeting were read and confirmed. ADVERTISING THE SPRINGS A discussion ensued as to the best means of advertising the Springs, and the question was left in the hands of a committee, comprising Messrs Sellars,Wilson and the Chairman. The Committee was also auth-. orised to get an analysis of the Springs water. Proposed by the Chairman, seconded by Comr. Becroft. NEW BATHS The Engineer reported he had secured 14 iron enamel baths, the only suitable ones procurable in Auckland. The Engineer's action was confirmed on the motion of Comr. Lambert, seconded by Comr. Wilson. PLUMBING WORK A tender was received for fixing the new baths and necessary plumbing and drainage. The tender being considered too high, it was decided the whole Board as a committee visit the Springs, to consider what should be done, and that Drs. Phippin and Meinhold be invited to accompany them and advise on drainage, etc. Proposed by Comr. Becroft and seconded by Comr. Wilson. HANGING THE CLOTHES On the motion of the Chairman seconded by Comr. Lambert, it was resolved to have clothes pegs placed in the dressing compartments of the swimming bath to replace the nails at present there. LEAVE ON ABSENCE Mrs Stokes, bath attendant, was granted two weeks' leave of absence. Proposed by Comr. Elliott, seconded by Comr. Becroft. FINANCE Accounts amounting to £113 11/10 were passed for payment.
