The correctness of the claim of £35 was admitted as against Shirley Frost, but Mr S. J. Frost totally denied liability. Shirley Frost's counter claim for £28 10s Id was disputed as to most of the items, and was eventually reduced to a few items, one of £6 10s 6d for labour and one for £9 for carting being the main items. After a good deal of evidence had been given on both sides, judgment was eventually given in favour of defendant (Shirley Frost) on his counter-claim of £23 3s lOd and costs ; and in favour of defendant (S. J. Frost) for his costs on the main claim; while Mr Cubitt got judgment for admitted claim of £35 and costs.
