I have had twenty years' experience in Local Bodiejs ad-, ministration, including fwelve years on the Waitemata glouuty Council. | I always stand for Progress and Reform, and if elected will undertake to support thjl present Progressive Policy /of . the Auckland Harbour Bo£rd. I'have a thoroughf knowledge of the requirements of the Farmers of the / Waitemata County and the Buifeesses of the Takapima Borough, and will make it my special business to get their wants attended to. lam a Farmer/and"a Producer, and I am of opiijfon that the vast endowments <p the Harbour Board should/ be utilised in Reducing the Fort Dues, so that the Producer Ind Consumer may both obtain iho necessaries of life' as cheaply as possible. I am st/ongly of opinion that it is the cfuty of the Harbour Board to provide every reasonable facility for shipping of every description, including ferries, and the cost pi such facilities should be a cMarge upon the general revenu/of the Board, and should not be imposed upon any Section of the/community.
