KAIPARA DEFENCE RIFLE CLUB
HELENTVILLE PLATOON.
A few residents of Helensville interested in rifle shooting have presented a gold rooser for competition, which will create a great deal of interest among the riflemen. A gold rooster will "also be presented to the ch.amp.iqn shot of the <;iub, The following members of the platoon have passed the musketry course required by the Department: R. E. Fen ton 62, W. R, Fosbroke 66 Garry 45, H. Phillips 44, Elliott 48, Becroft 69. Downer 61, T. Vercoe 65, W. Scott 65, R. Simmonds 67, Anderson 72 Langdon 68, Hill 40, G. Andrew 48 T. Scott 56, A, Nuttall 42, Hiflihens 49 Sims 61, Cox 59, Wirth 41. Several members have yet to finish theif course.
