PETITION AGAINST REED'S RETURN
It is reported that a petition is to be lodged against Mr Vernon Reed's return for Bay of Islands. Contrary to general belief,, the time for the institution of proceedings in this constituency has not yet expired, and the evidence of irregularities seens so strong that a fresh election is quite among the possibilities of the future.
