PRODUCE MARKET
Mr. J. Jones, Auctioneer, Victoria and Lome Streets, Auckland, reports:— The market this week has been very busy and large quantities of all classes of goods came forward. Potatoes have eased about £1 to £1 10s per ton. Poultry came forward in very, heavy supply, in fact the market was glutted and rric?s suffered. Qwing to the high cost of feed an^ the'moulting" season farmers are now disposing of their surplus stock.
