Jones, Auctioneer, Victoria and Lome Streets, Auckland, reports :— Business on the local market this week has been very good, and a large volume of business has been done_ Values in potatoes and poultry have slightly lowered. Old ducks are not in much demand and prices are low. Good roosters are in strong demand. There has been a large supply of fruit this week and lines havd been cleared. Pigs, 7s to 12/9, FARM PRODUCE Potatoes, prime, 6s 10 to Bs, good 5s to 6s, poor 4s to ss; onions, 7s 6d to 9s 6d ; swedes, £2 15s to £3 15s, Vegetables are scaroe, DAIRY PRODUCE Eggs fresh 1/2 to 1/4, butter 9d to 9J^d, bacon 9d to lOd, cheese 7d to 7^d, honey 3/ to 5/, bulk honey 2d to 3}^d.
