"lvro!?!rsnl)WS AND PICTURES IT has been a patent fact with the general public for nearly twelve months past that there was not room for two picture shows 'twice a week in Helensville, as upon most occasions both the Star Theatre (Foresters) run by Mr B. E. Williams and Becroft's Star Pictures (next door), were but sparsely attended upon both open nights. But now a happy conclusion has been arrived at, Messrs Becroft having acquired the balance of Mr Williams' lease, and as a consequence there will be but one picture show in Helensville, the public, we feel sure, will be more pleased, especially as patrons of these entertainments will no longer be greeted with the monotony of gazing upon empty chairs.
