Stringer reports having sent a further sum of £23 19s up to Auckland; this includes the sum of £13 13s, by members of the Foresters Lodge, Helensville. A medically unfit trooper donated £2 which had bepn presented to him Joy his chums, pripj; to his''leaving for Auckland. Having returned to Helensvijje, he reckoned giving to t-hs above fund was the best way to dispose of it.
