THE GIPSY'S WARNING

GERMAN newspapers twenty years ago gave an account of an interview supposed to have taken place between fhe Kaiser and a Gipsy woman. She predicted for German a Great War in 1914 when Germany " will go under," when she is ruled by an Emperor who gets on his horse on the off-side. His heir will perish, more than likely on the scaffold. Now, as the Kaiser, owing to a lame arm, has to mount on the off-side, it looks as if the Gipsy was nqt far wrong.
