For coloured photographic positives, Vancamps ,of Paris, first makes a negative under a violet, a green and an orange screen in turn. These three superphqsable negatives are in black and white, but a print with each: is made on the inventor's new coloured gelatine paper—the negative from the violet being used with a yellow sheet, that from green with red, and that from orange and blue. Washing removes the colour not fixed by light. Each ; ositive has its one colour rightly distributed, and the three —thin and transparent —blend into a paintinglike view on being superposed,
