AWAROA BOWLING CLUB
The Awaroa Bowling Club at Helensville has arranged to open its new green tomorrow. A large number of invitations to bowlers and others have been issued, and provided the weather keeps line there should be a large attendance. A committee of ladies has arranged to provide afternoon tea, and the members generally are working hard tomake the function a success. . The green is .in goo:} order, notwithstanding the unusually dry weather that has prevailed lately, and with the final cutting and rolling it is now receiving, should play excellently. The pavilion and flagstaff (presented by the president, Mr D. Stewart), and the ornamental borders surrounding th(- green, have added the last touch.
