The Brilliant Asquiths.

By taking a first in Classical Greats, a success which was announced at Oxford recently, Mr. Cyril Asquith has followed exactly in the footsteps of his father, the Prime Minister, and of his elder brother Raymond, now in successful practice at the Bar.

Mr. Cyril Asquith in 1909 went up from Winchester to Balliol, his father's old. college, with the Goddard scholarship. This and all the other steps culminating in the present triumph were taken by both the son and the - elder brother, a first in " Mods " and the Craven scholarship.

The Premier was elected to a Fellowship at Balliol in 1874, and Mr Raymond Asquith to one at All Souls' in 1902.
