The Roads Improvement Association of London, in conjunction with the R.S.P.C.A., are offering £100 for a new, or improved, type of horseshoe that will provide horses with a satisfactory foothold upon the modern waterproof road surfaces, and minimise the damage now caused to such surfaces by certain types of shoes now in use,
