Jlo.st of them are particularly pretty and ornamental in design, and in selecting the fans for this decoration they should be carefully chosen to harmonise with the colour of the wall-;>aper on which they are to find a place. \ A large "fold-up" fan is placed over the centre of the doorway and secured in position with one or two tiny tacks. . Round this fan five "flat fans" are arranged in the

manner shown in the illustration, with their handles hidden away behind the larger.
