TE POA SGHOOL

THAT real-live member of the Auckland Board of Education for the Northern circuit, Mr J. D. McKenzie, who is now seeking re-election, paid us a personal and friendly visit on Monday last, whilst he was on his way to Te Pua for the purpose of inquiring into the merits of continuing the school out there, over which there has been some correspondence of late in these columns. We feel certain that all parties will get justice from Mr McKenzie's advocacy to'keep the school open. Indeed, it .was a monstrous idea to dream of closing it, and we trust the Board will see the error of its ways in this respect.
