The Cowboy Hitch.
As the most serviceable kind of tether for a horse or cow, C. A. Wilson (Teasdale) sends a sketch of the cowboy hitch. It is not in
this case drawn tight, but left loose to show the lay of it. It is easily tied, however, restive the animal may be, and just as easily untied.
