The following conversation between two youths was overheard in Black- I burn the other day :— "Aw say, Bill, whot's t\\' meaning o' the word ' Limited 'up there on that shop after the name ? There's a lot on it abeawt here." "Doesn't tha know ?" said Bill. "Whoi, it's like this : Tha gi'es me i a penny, an' Aw puts a penny to it. Then we buy a tuppenny smoake. Well, J smoake it, while tha looks on : Aw'm a director, and tha'rt a share-holder. I tak' all the risks."
