WIDE WORLD PICTURES
LAST evening a large and appreciative audience attended the Wide World Pictures, On Saturday night next another good programme will be screened, including a Vitagraph drama entitled "The Parting of the Ways"; also "Carnival week at Christchurch,"' showing the race for the -N.Z. Cup and the Trotting Club £2000 Cup contest, besides incidents at the Show Grounds.
The management have procured for their patrons that beautiful masterpiece of Victor Hugo's, " Les Miserables," after the book of the sanie name. This film is 12,000 ft (nearly 3 miles). This picture will be screened next Wednesday June 24th, and as it is of uuusual length will start punctually at 7.55 p.m.
