ON Saturday evening next at the Star Theatre, the great hunting picture will be screened. It was secured at a cost of 25,000 dollars. A bewildering realistic screening of big game hunting in' the jungle wilds of Darkest Africa, depicting thousands of wild, ferocious beasts of the vast continent in their native haunts and lairs. To secure this wonderful picture, Mr Hemmant, the photographer, liuflf 1 "or six weeks amongst the branches beside a pool, to which all the aniilals come to quench their thirst. Onf' of the most realistic and exciting spectacles ever screened is the fierce battle between the lions and dogs, the closest picture ever taken of the wild animal in the native haunts. The hunting dogs tree a cheetah, then climb to the topmost branchea and .force the .cheetah to jump into the pack of fighting dog;? below.
