4 FOR NAILING HARDWOOD. | Before attempting to drive a nail through hard wood or where it might split the wood, push it through a thin cake of soap. If a shoe pinches in one place put a drop of olive oil on the stocking Just where the pinch comes, and also apply a drop to the outside of the boot at the same place.
