STAR PICTURES

Large audiences continue to patronise the Star Pictures to their evident satis--1 action. The programmes last week' and again on Wednesday were distinctly good and met with deserved appreciation. For Saturday night the Star picture is Ha strong dramatic subject, having 2000 ft of film, titled "Golden Hoard" or "Bnried Alive," Other dramatic subjects of intense interest are " Mary of the Briarwood Dell/ and " Death's Marathon. A beautiful Pathe colour scenic of Monte Carlo, together with the usual variety of instructive and amusing films, also figure on the programme.
