Personal.

On the occasion of her retirement from the service of Stewart Bros. Ltd., last Saturday, Miss Cullens, who has been with the firm for several years in the Book-keeping department and latterly as typiste, was the recipient of a handsome ladies' hand-bag and a pretty cake dish as a memento of goodwill and the esteem in which she was held by the other members of the staff. Miss Cullens was tendered hearty good wishes in reference to her approoching marriage.

Mr Woodhouse, stationmaster, is recovering somewhat from his recent illness and is able to get about again. He will require a little holiday, however, before he is able to resume his duties.

Const, Driscoll resumed duty last week after a pleasant month's holiday, which, in company with Mrs Driscoll, he spent down South.
