AUCKLAND FARMERS' UNION STOCK SALE.

The Auckland Farmers' Union, Ltd. held their usual monthly sale at Kamo on the 3rd. inst. when 570 head were penned, a great number of them being fresh conditioned 3 and 4 years Steers. Owing to the continual dry weather graziers are anything but keen and prices for this particular class of cattle showed a decline of from 10s to 15s on last months prices. A line of 65 nice quality two years old steer sold at L 4 12s 6d and another line of (50) 3J4 year steers changed hands at L 7 ss, both lots being bought for the Wairoa.

We quote :—Beef, Steers L 7to L 9 12s 9d, (only light weights offering)Cows, L 4 15s to L 7. Fresh conditioned 8 and 4 year steers L 6 to L 7 10s ; 2 steers L 3 15s to L 4 lGs ; 12 to 18 months steers, L 2 15s to L3ss ; steer calves LI 5s to LI 15s, heifers LI toLl 15s. Good framed young empty cows L 3 19s to L 4 2s 6s, others LI 10s to L 2 10s, 2 to 3 year heifers L 2 10s to L 4.

Dairy stock. Only a small offering. Good sound young cows close to profit were wanted. AYe quote from L 4 10s to L 7 10s.

Siieep. Good framed 2 tooth ewes 19s

Al Wliangarei on the 4th inst., we had only a moderate yarding and prices were a shade easier than those obtained at Ramo the previous day.
