THE HELENSVILLE BATHS.

DISGRACE WITHOUT SAN-

ATORIUM

It is well-known here that efforts have been made from time to time by the most prominent citizens of the district, to induce Government to subsidise or otherwise erect the much-needed Sanatorium at the Springs as a necessary curative adjunct in bad cases to the wonderful hot Springs in our midst. But applications have only been met with a squint so far, yet this is no reason why the great and important question should be shelved or lost sight of. Helensville must be brought into-, the kindly light of the Government regardless of all excuses involving money or expense in anyway —the baths are not what nature intended them to be unless a (Sanatorium) is granted Helensville, and Helensville is going to struggle and punch the ball till it

ets one! The elections are coming on ; yes, and with a lot of palava and soft-soap, and Mr Massey is sure to come along also
