The Minister for Publio Works (Hon. W. Frasor) has informed Mr. F. Mander, M.P. for Marsden, that nothing definite whatever has been decided with regard to the point at which the newline from Whangartu will link tip the North Auckland Main Trunk Railway, or even with re ference to the exact route to be taken, Surveys, he states, are in progress, and the Engineer-in-chief hopes to find a iriddle course which will suit, all parties.
