Among the prizewinners at Auckland Show were the following:—Filly or gelding, 2 years, R. Nicholls' Merry Star 1; cow or heifer, E. Archibald 1; pen of three heifers, A. Taylor 1, S. IX Kerr 2, Mrs R. Archibald 3; dairy Shorthorn cow. A. Taylor 1, •>, and 3; Pedigreo Shorthorn bull, 3 years, A. E. Harding's Larkspur Duke of Mauoa 1; Merino sheep, M.Kelly three seconds, three ibirds ; Romm-v Marsh, Alex 1). Bell, two firsts, three seconds. G. T. Bayly one second.
Further local prizewinners at Auckland &;io\v wtre as under: wire jump, J P. Kelly's Oawleen 2; novice high juu.p. F. Dye's stailight 1, 11. Hunter's Clematis 2. Bacon, F. W. Strange 1. For farmers' butter without salt F. W. Strange was second and first for salted butter. In saddle horses. 3 years. R. Nicholls' Merry Star was first ; for 2-year-old draughts R. Nicholls' Lady Hopetown was third.
Additional awards gained by district exhibitors at Auckland show are as follow:-Pony hunter, JP. Kelly's Cawleen 2, Li. Hunter's Clematis 3; pair of fillies, A. E Harding 1; high jump F. Dye's Starlight 2. Girl rider, Miss M. Fly mi; bareback rider T, Caliagher 2; Dual jumping, T. Gallagher 2.
