Mr and Mrs George Bennett senr. left last week on a trip to Palmerston North, Wanganui and Wellington. They expect to be away about three months.

Phyllis Hill met with a mishap a few days ago by falling and breaking an arm. The injured member is progressing favorably.

Mr Percy McLeod got a bit of a shaking and some bruises by his horse falling over on him out at Parakai yesterday. His injuries, though painful, we're not of a serious nature.

The infant daughter of Mr and Mrs Skelton got a severe and extensive scalding a few days ago by pulling over a teapot which was full of boiling water. The little sufferer was taken to the hospital, and is now doing well.

Herr and Madame Wierlart, who appear with the Wierlaet Pechotsch Combination on Christmas and Boxing night in the Foresters' Hall, are, after touring the Dominion leaving for England and Europe.

Herr and Madame Pechotsch, at the conclusion cf the Wielaert Pechotsch tour of the Dominion, intend touring Australia, United States, and Europe, giving series of concerts in those countries.
