The "Star" Pictures.

A large audienc6 attended for the re-opening of the Foi*esters' Hall for picture entertainments on Saturday evening, when the first programme of Star pictures was presented. The films were remarkably good and met with keen approbation. Many of the audience considered the programme one of the best seen in Helensville. The pictures were very clear en the screen, the plant being quite new and up-to-date in every respect.

For to-night another excellent series has come to hand. There are some splendid scenics in "Norway to New York," " Winter Landscapes in Sweden " and " Scenes in Mozambique." The Star subject is a drama titled " The Survival of the Fittest," other good dramas and entertaining comics also figure on the list, and patrons are assured of an enjoyable time.
